Tune into EMPTY HEAD at 13:00 every Thursday to discover which year will be put under the musical microscope! No year is without its moments but what exactly does twelve months sound like? Each week we will be selecting a year at random and going on to talk about the pop-culture and political phenomenons through the music that was released, the music that was charting and the songs that weren't. We'll be doing it all! From the beginnings of Disco coinciding with the end of Nixon in 1974, Thatcher's Privatization and the explosion of Synth Pop in 1981, the second wave of Soviet Jazz under Khrushchev's Thaw in 1953 and the music of Tokyo Rose's propaganda show in the Pacific War on '45. ENJOY!!!!
